This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Duties and Responsibilities: - Comply with all laws, policies and procedures, rules and regulations formulated by the State of Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS) and Liberty Health Care (Liberty), and any applicable professional governing bodies. - Deliver cognitive-behavioral treatment, psycho-education and other treatment to individuals and groups as assigned, in accordance with established performance standards. Document service delivery and resident progress on a weekly basis, completed in accordance with established standards and time frames. - Facilitate therapy groups with assignment and schedule of groups determined in coordination with a team of clinical providers. Therapy groups are typically co-facilitated with another clinical therapist and constitute the majority of the clinical therapists direct service. Document each residents participation in therapy groups using established formats within established time frames. - Serve as primary therapist to assigned residents, with frequency and amount of direct contact with residents consistent with established performance standards. Primary therapy duties include: (a) treatment planning; (b) referring residents to treatment groups and recreational activities; (c) referring residents to psychiatric services, medical services or other specialized care as needed; (d) providing individual resident contact to facilitate work in group therapy; (e) documenting individual resident contacts using established formats within established time frames; and (f) other duties related to primary care of assigned residents as directed. - Provide assessment of residents mental status, risk potential, and mental health needs at established time frames (such as admission, periods of crisis, and periods of increased security) with established procedure. - Provide training and consultation to treatment and security staff on clinical methods and procedures related to the Sexually Violent Persons population as directed. - Administer tests and assessments within scope of licensure, certification and training, as assigned. - Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, case conferences, case presentations, staff development meetings and training activities. - Provide clinical support and back up to other clinical staff as needed. - Work cooperatively in weekly individual supervision with Team Leader for clinical and administrative supervision. - Perform administrative duties including documentation of work hours, correspondence and coordination with other clinical and facility staff, etc. - Conduct program quality management activities as assigned - Performs other duties as assigned by Employer.
