JOB SUMMARY

AAA Mountain West Group is seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Organizational Development (SOD) Manager to design and deliver transformational leadership experiences. In this high-impact role, you will act as the expert architect for initiatives that build core capabilities for our people leaders. Moving beyond traditional program management, you will serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor to HR leadership and business executives, diagnosing capability gaps and co-creating solutions that drive measurable business results. You will balance long-term strategic thinking with operational excellence to execute leadership assessments, executive coaching, and curated development at scale. NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week onsite in our Walnut Creek, CA office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Strategic Needs Analysis & Diagnosis Leadership & Executive Development Program Delivery & Professional Growth

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

Strategic Expertise: Proven ability to build deep business acumen and use industry trends/research to design leadership experiences that achieve tangible ROI. Coaching & Assessment Proficiency: Experience utilizing psychometric tools and 360-degree assessments to drive leader self-awareness. Professional Coaching Certification (e.g., ICF) is a significant plus. Instructional Design & Facilitation: Expert understanding of adult learning principles with a track record of facilitating high-stakes sessions for VP+ audiences. Stakeholder Management: Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the presence and credibility to influence and advise senior executive leadership. Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage the full lifecycle of complex OD initiatives, from initial conception through to launch and evaluation.
