Description Roofing Service Sales Livermore, CA ACS Roofing Service Sales Representative Position Summary The Roofing Service Sales Representative is responsible for generating and closing repair, maintenance, and service-level roofing work — inspections, leak repairs, coatings, and small-to-mid-size projects — for commercial and industrial customers. This role is the front line of Allied's service revenue: building relationships with property managers and building owners, accurately scoping service work, and converting inspections and leads into signed work orders. Success in this role means: Consistent monthly service sales volume Fast lead response and high close rates on service/repair work Accurate scoping that leads to clean handoffs to the service/production team Strong repeat and referral business from existing accounts Core Responsibilities Lead Generation & Pipeline Management Respond quickly to inbound service and repair leads Prospect new accounts: property managers, HOAs, general contractors, commercial building owners Maintain an active pipeline of inspection, repair, and maintenance opportunities Keep CRM updated daily with lead status, notes, and next steps Key Outcome: A full, accurate pipeline of service opportunities. Site Inspections & Scoping Conduct on-site roof inspections to identify repair and maintenance needs Document roof condition with photos and notes Accurately scope the work required (coatings, patching, flashing repair, maintenance plans, etc.) Coordinate with the roofing service/production team on feasibility and pricing Key Outcome: Scopes that are accurate, sellable, and easy to execute. Proposals & Closing Prepare clear, accurate proposals and estimates for service and repair work Present pricing and recommendations to customers in person or virtually Follow up promptly on outstanding proposals Negotiate and close contracts in line with company pricing and margin guidelines Key Outcome: Jobs sold accurately and profitably, the first time. Client Relationship Management Build long-term relationships with property managers, HOA boards, and commercial building owners Recommend proactive maintenance plans to reduce future repair costs for clients Follow up after job completion to confirm satisfaction Drive repeat business and referrals from existing accounts Key Outcome: High customer retention and a strong local reputation. Handoff & Communication Ensure a smooth handoff from sales to the service/production crew Confirm scope clarity with the production team to avoid miscommunication or change orders Stay available to answer customer or crew questions once a job is scheduled Key Outcome: Minimal job friction and accurate expectations for the customer.
