Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required. License: Current and valid state nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, EKG Course/Telemetry test required. Must-Have: Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID required. Utility bill in the traveler's name with matching address within the last three months is required. Experience with Pacemakers, IV insulin protocols, and Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI) is essential. Ability to float to other areas as needed. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Candidates must have no license hits. Description: This position requires a registered nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The nurse will work night shifts, covering 3 twelve-hour shifts each week. The role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients. The nurse must be proficient in telemetry and monitor patient conditions through EKG readings. Experience with a variety of nursing skills, including IV management, blood product administration, and telemetry monitoring, is essential. Floating to other departments may be required based on staffing needs. Applicants must not have more than one year of separation from previous employment as a nurse. All submissions must include supervisory references for consideration. Candidates should be aware of the floating requirements prior to applying. A medical or religious exemption is necessary for vaccination requirements.
