About the Role Ascent Hospitality is seeking an energetic, strategic, and results-driven Director of Sales to lead sales efforts at Trilogy Hotel in Huntsville, AL. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and creating revenue opportunities within a dynamic and growing market. The Director of Sales will be responsible for driving group, corporate, leisure, and local market business , while building strong partnerships with businesses, organizations, meeting planners, and community partners. What You Will Do Develop and execute sales strategies to increase hotel revenue, occupancy, and market share. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Huntsville and surrounding markets. Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, group clients, meeting planners, travel partners, and community organizations. Conduct sales calls, client visits, networking events, site tours, and community outreach. Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline with consistent lead follow-up and account development. Drive group, corporate, meetings, events, and local market business. Promote hotel accommodations, meeting spaces, packages, and special offers. Partner closely with the General Manager and hotel leadership to achieve sales and revenue goals. Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and emerging business opportunities. Maintain accurate sales activity, account information, forecasts, and reporting. Represent Trilogy Hotel and Ascent Hospitality professionally throughout the Huntsville community. What We Are Looking For Previous hotel sales, hospitality, or business development experience preferred. Proven ability to develop relationships, generate new business, and achieve sales goals. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Results-driven with excellent follow-up and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with hotel leadership. Strong knowledge of the Huntsville market is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales/CRM systems preferred. Ability to travel locally for sales calls, client meetings, networking events, and community activities.
