Baker and Packager Associate

Position Summary Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through following recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. They may need to juggle several tasks while helping members with bakery orders. The role requires teamwork, customer focus, and a commitment to maintaining the bakery area in a clean, organized, and safe manner. What You'll Do Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team and support each other as business needs arise. Prepare bakery department merchandise by operating baking equipment, following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing items according to company policies. Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment and demonstrate knowledge of product layout execution. Leverage digital tools for production decisions, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality, encouraging team members to adopt new tools. Maintain work areas according to company policies, ensuring quality, date control, and proper packaging of bakery items. Assist members with purchasing decisions, providing exceptional customer service and resolving questions. Identify improvement opportunities, adapt to change, and communicate progress to managers and other business partners. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Successful completion of all required job training and assessments within a prescribed time period. Pay and Hours Hourly wage range: $19.00 to $27.00. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance incentives and various premiums based on schedule, facility, or specific work performed.
