Full-Time Contract Hourly Pay Rate: $63.65 Job Benefits:

Job Shift:

• 8 Hour Days (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, M-F)
• Includes rotating late joint coverage (not every night)
• Last joint seen by 5:00 PM, out by 6:30 PM at latest
• No call, no weekends
• Not suitable for first-time travelers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Occupational Therapist (OT) license for Kansas (KSBHA) required
• NBCOT certification preferred
• BLS certification required within first 90 days if not already held
• Epic experience preferred, not required
• Experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Comfortable with transferring patients with lines and drains, and managing acutely ill diagnoses

Expected Patient Load:

• 7–8 patients per 8-hour shift, building to full capacity

Patient Types:

• General medicine, neuro, ortho, cardiac, respiratory, trauma, surgical, ICU, joint replacement
• ED patients less common

Daily Tasks:

• Arrive and perform chart review
• Develop and execute patient care plans/evaluations
• Participate in 12:45 PM huddle
• Schedule and care for patients until approximately noon
• Lunch break (30 minutes)
• Continue patient care in the afternoon
• May be paired with a PT during some shifts for workflow orientation
