Drug Discovery Project Leader II - Small Molecule
Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins seeks an experienced drug discovery leader to manage integrated discovery programs from target validation through clinical candidate selection across multiple therapeutic areas. The role requires leading cross-functional teams, driving project execution, and serving as the primary scientific liaison with client partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end drug discovery strategies and cross-functional project teams
- Consult with clients to define requirements and design integrated discovery proposals
- Interpret integrated data to enable decision-making and manage project risks and timelines
- Manage budgets, resourcing plans, and communication with internal stakeholders and clients
- Provide scientific guidance during IND-enabling stages and facilitate post-project evaluations
Requirements
- 10+ years drug discovery project leadership experience in industry
- MSc or PhD in biological sciences or equivalent discipline
- Proven track record advancing multiple compounds to clinical candidate stage
- Expertise in medicinal chemistry, biology, and DMPK/ADME disciplines
- Strong project planning, leadership, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with project management tools, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office
- Residence in CST or EST time zones
