Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care Magnet-designated facility
• Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in accordance with unit standards
• Float between like units as needed to support staffing requirements
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective maternal and neonatal outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand prior to start; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, and LA Fire Card (obtained within the last 30 days)
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• No open license or background hits; all license and background disclosures must be made at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in an acute care or Magnet-designated hospital setting
• Familiarity with floating between Labor and Delivery and like units
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
