Help Children Learn, Grow, and Thrive Every Day What you will do: As a Classroom Aide, you’ll work alongside Teachers and Teacher Assistants to support preschool children in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. You’ll play an important role in helping children develop socially, emotionally, physically, and academically while supporting families and classroom teams. Support teachers with classroom activities, projects, and learning experiences Help create a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for children Engage with children through play, conversation, singing, reading, and hands-on activities Use positive guidance and redirection strategies Assist with classroom setup, organization, and rotating learning materials Supervise children indoors and outdoors to ensure safety at all times Participate in family-style meals and encourage social interaction Help children build confidence, independence, and emotional skills Assist with classroom cleaning and maintaining a sanitary environment Support classroom coverage during breaks, lunches, and absences Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures Collaborate with staff and families to support children’s success What We’re Looking For: High School Diploma or GED Previous experience with young children preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Compassion, patience, and professionalism Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook Required Certifications: (Or ability to obtain after hire) CPR/First Aid Certification within 60 days Food Handler’s Card within 30 days Central Background Registry enrollment Grow Your Career Gain valuable experience in early childhood education and community services.
