This position is responsible for operating fueling equipment, performing fuel quantity verification, conducting equipment inspections, and maintaining detailed fueling documentation. The Aircraft Fueler works closely with airline personnel and airport operations to ensure aircraft are properly fueled and prepared for on‑time departure while maintaining the highest safety standards. RESPONSIBILITIES Safely and efficiently conduct aircraft fueling operations in accordance with company, airline, and regulatory guidelines Operate fuel trucks, hydrant carts, stationary carts, and related fueling equipment Connect and disconnect fueling hoses and monitor fuel flow during operations Ensure accurate loading, distribution, and balancing of fuel in accordance with aircraft specifications Conduct defueling procedures as required Perform daily quality control inspections on fueling equipment to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality Maintain accurate records of fueling transactions, fuel quantities, and related documentation Fuel various Ground Service Equipment including Hydrant Trucks, Fuel Trucks, Tanker Trucks, Tugs, and Belt Loaders Respond promptly and appropriately to fuel spills, leaks, or emergency situations in accordance with safety protocols Work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at the assigned work location Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards Perform any additional duties as assigned by management QUALIFICATIONS 18 years of age or older Eligible to work in the United States Must have a valid state‑issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking) Basic math skills for fuel calculations and documentation Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including iPads/Tablets, computers, and mobile devices Ability to communicate effectively both in person and through electronic means Eligibility to acquire required credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, U.S. Postal Service, as applicable) Ability to work any day/shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays within a 24/7 operation PHYSICAL ACTIVITY / WORKING CONDITIONS MAY INCLUDE Ability to lift up to 70 pounds Prolonged standing and walking in indoor and outdoor environments Ability to reach with arms and grasp with hands Ability to push, pull, bend, stretch, squat, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces Ability to climb and work at elevated heights Exposure to moderate and at times high noise levels Exposure to biohazards, chemicals, fuel vapors, and outdoor elements Ability to hear and respond to spoken voice and audible alarms Tasks involving repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, hands, and/or fingers Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
