Business Systems Analyst Concur/Workday

The Panther Group is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support a prestigious Boston-based university during a critical transition of its enterprise Travel & Expense (T&E) platform, SAP Concur. This role will partner closely with Information Technology, Finance, and Travel Services teams to support the organization's transition to full internal ownership of Concur. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of business analysis, systems administration, workflow documentation, stakeholder management, and financial systems experience, with a preference for candidates familiar with Workday Financials. Business Analysis & Process Improvement Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements. Evaluate current‑state business processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Create workflow diagrams, process maps, system documentation, and business requirements. Support business process optimization related to travel, expense, and financial operations. Concur Administration & System Support Support day‑to‑day administration of the SAP Concur platform. Assist with user access management, security roles, permissions, and audit controls. Perform access remediation activities and ensure compliance with organizational security standards. Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with stakeholders and technical teams. Workday & System Integration Support Support integration activities between Concur and Workday Financials. Document integration workflows, dependencies, and data flow processes. Identify potential system impacts and assist with testing and validation efforts. Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to ensure seamless business operations. Stakeholder Collaboration & Go‑Live Readiness Partner with Finance, Travel Services, and ITS leadership to define support processes and ownership responsibilities. Facilitate meetings and discussions with business stakeholders. Track project milestones, risks, and action items using Jira and related project management tools. Support go‑live planning, readiness assessments, and transition activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Administrator, or related experience. Experience supporting SAP Concur or another enterprise Travel & Expense platform. Experience documenting business processes, workflows, and system requirements. Understanding of Travel & Expense operations, reimbursement processes, approval workflows, and audit controls. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Workday Financials. Experience supporting Concur‑to‑Workday integrations. Familiarity with ServiceNow and Jira. Experience with enterprise security, role‑based access management, and audit controls. Experience working in higher education, finance, or large enterprise environments. Ability to quickly learn new systems and take on additional responsibilities beyond core assignments.
