What You'll Do: As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients and patients, helping ensure a smooth and positive experience from check-in to check-out. Greet clients and pets with professionalism, warmth, and compassion Answer multi-line phone systems and respond to client inquiries Schedule appointments and obtain accurate patient histories Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions Verify patient vaccination records, testing status, and medical information Communicate patient arrivals and treatment needs with veterinarians and veterinary technicians Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter product orders as directed by veterinarians Maintain accurate medical records and data entry within veterinary software systems Support daily front desk operations and administrative tasks Assist with additional duties as assigned to support hospital operations This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities and may be modified as business needs evolve.
