Life doesnt always follow a fixed schedule. Thats why we created the Security Officer Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income gain hands-on experience or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Roving in Conroe TX this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

08:00 PM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel contractors and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and unusual conditions in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper site and Allied Universal channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings production-adjacent areas parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards maintenance issues and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity at access points verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site procedures and support access control expectations for a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Support site emergency protocols by communicating clearly with personnel and first responders assisting with evacuations or restricted access areas when appropriate and maintaining awareness of changing site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
