Project Manager (Mitigation/Remediation)

Job Responsibilities Manage projects from start to finish: inspections, estimates, scope development, timelines and expectations, especially in complex, multi‑hazard situations. Ensure work is performed correctly, safely and in compliance with regulatory agencies such as BAAQMD, CDPH, OSHA, and hazardous materials regulations. Communicate daily with clients, keeping them informed of progress and navigating issues. Direct and lead technician crews, checking in daily, providing constructive feedback and ensuring excellent outcomes. Manage approved subcontractors and material needs, coordinating with contractors and industrial hygienists. Serve on the Emergency Response Team, responding on a rotating schedule for after‑hours needs. Partner with teammates, using the Project Coordinator’s support for scheduling, documentation and prioritization of crews. Collaborate with business development to win new clients and collect post‑project feedback. Deliver accurate invoices and support collection efforts, reviewing job logs and coordinating with accounting. Qualifications Six or more years of position‑related experience, preferably in the restoration industry. Proficiency with Google Workspace and job‑management software such as Xactimate, Capabuild, HubSpot. Strong written and oral communication skills with all stakeholders; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus. Strong drive as an individual contributor, with a team‑first mentality. High School Diploma or GED required; college or advanced degree a plus. Proficient technical skills, experience and certifications in relevant service areas. Valid California Driver’s license with at least three years of driving experience, a clean record and insurability. Certifications & Experience Required certifications or equivalent knowledge: Deep understanding of ANSI/llCRC S500, S520 and industry standards. Knowledge of and ability to apply OSHA, Cal/OSHA, safety, state and federal industry standards. Water Restoration Technician (WRT), Applied Structural Drying (ASD) or similar certification. Nice to have: Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) Training. CDPH Lead Supervisor Certification. OSHA 30 Certification. Applied Structural Drying (ASD) Training. Commercial Drying Specialist (CDS) Training (IICRC).

HAZWOPER 40.

Will provide if needed: OSHA 10 Certification. Asbestos Supervisor Certification. Lead Worker and/or RRP Certification. Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) Training. Physical Requirements Able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, stoop and lift up to 30 lbs. Constantly operate a computer (typing, reading). Frequently remain in stationary positions for extended periods. Constantly communicate in‑person, virtually, and from a range of distances. Able to drive and have reliable transportation to corporate offices. Benefits & Compensation Annual starting base salary of $80,000–$90,000 (DOE) plus commission on every project.
