This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with students, educators, and families, providing crucial psychological services across two campuses. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for engaging with diverse populations and fostering inclusive student support.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Professional experience as a School Psychologist in educational settings
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Skill in conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing reports
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and administrators
- Familiarity with special education processes and regulations
What You'll Do:
- Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to support special education eligibility decisions
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians regarding student needs, learning strategies, and interventions
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, presenting findings and recommendations
- Provide written reports and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Cover two campuses by coordinating scheduling and services efficiently
- Serve as a resource for culturally responsive practices and language considerations
- No direct counseling responsibilities are required for this role
