• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible internal medicine or family medicine physician
• Michigan-based or drive-in candidates only
• Inpatient hospital medicine
• Locations include:
  • Midland
  • Alma
  • Clare
  • Tawas
  • West Branch
  • Standish
  • Sault Ste. Marie
• Preference for physicians who can work 3-4 consecutive day stretches
• Current needs include:
  • Midland Rounder (7a-7p): August 24-26
  • Alma Rounder (7a-7p): August 6-9
  • Standish: On-site (7a-7p) with overnight call (7p-7a): August 22-23
• Additional dates will be available
• No procedures required
• APP support available; no supervision responsibilities
• EMR: Epic
• Dictation: Dragon
• Requirements:
  • Michigan medical license required
  • ACLS (American Heart Association only)
  • ACGME-approved residency
  • 50 inpatient case logs from the past 12 months (verification required)
• Credentialing typically takes approximately 30 days, with applications prioritized by start date

  • Closed ICU with intensivist coverage 24/7
  • Average census: 20 patients per provider
• Alma
  • 80-bed hospital
  • Average census: 45-50 (15-18 per provider)
  • Open ICU with pulmonologist coverage 24/7
• Clare
  • 49-bed hospital
  • Average census: 12-15
  • Overnight call required
  • Must be comfortable practicing independently
• Tawas
  • 47-bed acute care hospital
  • Average census: 8-10
  • Typically 4-6 admissions daily, most after noon
• Sault Ste. Marie
  • 49-bed hospital
  • Average census: 10
  • Typically 2-4 admissions daily
