Delivery Helper

Position Summary The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate job sites, back, prepare and restore the job site, and prepare the truck for the following day while maintaining the truck and equipment. Duties & Responsibilities Compliance with company, state and federal guidelines, especially OSHA and DOT, for the safety of all personnel; perform pre‑trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure accuracy. Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area as directed by the customer; secure mud, equipment, metal and pallet on the truck. Navigate routes to the job site. Basic Qualifications Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately. Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs for materials such as drywall and joint compound. Core competencies: trust and integrity, servant leadership, inclusion, respect for diverse perspectives. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; collaborate to get the job done. Self‑management, initiative, proactivity and drive results. Professional verbal and written communication with coworkers and customers. Physical Requirements Stand 90% of the time. Unloading materials from commercial motor vehicles onto the job site. Unload and load materials from flatbed or boom. Move materials weighing up to 100 lbs. Communicate with management and coworkers. Work outdoors while making deliveries. Required Cognitive Skills Prioritize job sites and deadlines. Manage stress according to customer deadlines. Multitask. Receive information and directions. Communicate solutions promptly when problems arise. Make sound judgment. Other Requirements Must have a valid driver’s license.
