Fleet Maintenance & Detailing Associate – Great Hours

Let's be real: finishing work by 11AM or 2PM leaves a lot of day for the things you actually want to do. Sleep in. Hit the lake. Catch a matinee. Whatever your Austin lifestyle looks like — this schedule protects it.

We're looking for a few dependable, detail-loving people to join the team keeping a fleet of self-driving delivery robots clean, charged, and road-ready. The work is satisfying, the team knows how to have fun, and you'll be done while most people are still sitting in their first meeting of the day.

Pick Your Shift

Early Bird — Monday–Friday, 6AM–2PM (free by early afternoon)

Afternoon — Monday–Friday, 2PM–11PM (mornings completely yours)

What You'll Be Doing

• Wash and detail vehicles inside and out — windows, surfaces, cargo areas, the works
• Make sure every vehicle is fully charged and dispatch-ready before the day kicks off
• Run through basic mechanical checks — tire pressure, lights, fluid levels, wipers
• Handle light maintenance tasks like swapping wiper blades, replacing bulbs, or topping off fluids
• Flag any mechanical or safety concerns to the Fleet or Operations team right away
• Move vehicles around the lot and in and out of charging bays
• Keep accurate logs of cleanings, inspections, and maintenance completed
• Keep the workspace organized, safe, and up to standard
• Chip in on other fleet operations as needed — no two nights are exactly the same

What You Bring

• Valid driver's license with a clean record — non-negotiable
• Some experience in auto detailing, cleaning, or light mechanical work is a plus
• Basic comfort with vehicle systems and routine maintenance checks
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably in a garage or outdoor setting
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Most importantly: you show up, you're reliable, and you take pride in work done right

The Details

• Full-time, 1-year contract
• Onsite in Austin, TX (must be local)
• Work with a team that's building something genuinely cool in the autonomous vehicle space — and actually enjoys doing it
