Part-Time Cook
The Wave of Edgewater, Clearwater, FL
The Wave of Edgewater is seeking a Part-Time Cook to support our residential behavioral health facilities. This role is responsible for preparing daily meals for clients at both The Wave of Edgewater and The Wave of Clearwater , with all cooking completed at the Edgewater location.
Schedule
- Every Saturday and Sunday
- 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Some holidays required
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook lunch and dinner for approximately up to 40 clients total (each facility houses up to 20 clients)
- Coordinate meal preparation for both Edgewater and Clearwater locations
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Maintain an organized, clean kitchen environment
- Adhere to dietary guidelines and portion requirements appropriate for a residential treatment setting
Requirements
- 2+ years of cooking experience (professional or institutional preferred)
- ServSafe certification required (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Ability to work independently and manage meal preparation for multiple locations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to start right away
- Experience cooking for groups or facilities strongly preferred
Compensation
- Pay is negotiable and will be discussed during the interview, based on experience
