Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

A leading acute care hospital just outside Boston is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a full-time inpatient locum assignment beginning October 2026.
Location: Newton
Position Highlights
• General Cardiology inpatient only
• Acute Care Hospital setting
• Scheduled coverage only NO CALL
• Full-time Monday Friday schedule
• 4x10s 8:00a 6:30p
• No block scheduling
Team Structure
• Work alongside 2 3 PAs and 1 attending physician
• Consult service supporting the hospitalist team
• No dedicated cardiac unit
Clinical Responsibilities
• New cardiology consults and follow-up visits
• Inpatient management and care coordination
• No procedures required
• Mix of direct patient care and interdisciplinary coordination
Systems
• Epic EMR required
Requirements
• Cardiology NP experience required
• Board Certification required
• Active Massachusetts license required
• ACLS & BLS required
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Epic experience required
• Willing to license: No
Credentialing Timeline
• Standard credentialing: 2 4 months
