Registered Nurse - Acute Rehabilitation

This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Nurse specializing in acute rehabilitation. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses. The rehabilitation programs are tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals, focusing on maximizing health, function, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an acute rehabilitation setting.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Perform IV starts, manage feeding tubes, and provide wound care.
• Assist with ostomy care as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to customize rehabilitation plans.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in the electronic health record (EHR) system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license and CNA certification required.
• Experience in acute care preferred, with a focus on rehabilitation.
• Prior experience with post-surgical, stroke, cardiac care, and hemodialysis patients is a plus.
