Responsibilities Individual Treatment: Deliver psychological treatment services that follow best practice guidelines and departmental standards Group Instruction: Lead psychoeducational groups that teach skills for managing psychiatric symptoms and supporting recovery Clinical Assessment: Conduct assessments involving intelligence, cognitive abilities, personality factors, neuropsychological needs, functional levels, and psychological conditions Behavioral Planning: Develop and carry out behavioral programs that support patients in meeting treatment goals Patient Evaluation: Evaluate newly admitted and annually reviewed patients to help the interdisciplinary team form treatment plans Family Consultation: Work with family members and community partners to identify supports for successful living in less restrictive environments Work Schedule and Additional Information Full‑time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch (12:00 PM–12:30 PM) Overtime and travel as operationally necessary Telework: not available for this position Salary: starting salary may be non‑negotiable in some cases FREE parking Qualifications Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Master’s degree in a behavioral science, counseling education, rehabilitation, human development or a closely related field. Applicants within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree will be considered. Other Requirements: Must meet the PA residency requirement. Must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements Conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act, requiring submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including PA State Police and FBI clearance.
