Job Title: Scheduler Division : Precision Pulley and Idler (PPI)
F LSA: Non-Exempt Job Status: Full Time - 1st shift
Travel Required: 0-5% Reports to: Plant Manager
PURPOSE OF POSITION
To coordinate the workload for manufacturing, with the Sales/Estimating, Inventory Control, and Purchasing teams, to enable them to productively produce orders and MOs on time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
- Oversee the workload for the factory.
- Process orders 2-3 times per day.
- Print production schedules for the factory as need daily and weekly.
- Give Inside Sales delivery guidelines daily and special delivery as needed.
- Run backlog report and hours scheduled report weekly to help monitor the workload.
- Process change orders daily.
- Run late orders report daily and oversee late order meetings two times a week.
- Do order checks for inside sales as needed.
- Review allocation summary and schedule allocation reports.
- Coordinate work between the factory and office.
- Continually participate in additional training related to the job.
- Perform required preventative maintenance.
- Assist in other departments as requested.
- Use and understand various paperwork, including schedules, prints, & tech standards.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement by practicing good housekeeping and organization in their work area

EDUCATION – EXPERIENCE – COMPUTER SKILLS
- High school diploma or a general education degree (GED); or
- One to three months related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
TRAINING – CERTIFICATIONS – LICENSES
- Continually participate in additional training related to the job.

- The noise level in the work environment is usually MODERATE
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions.
