Clinical Nurse - Transitional Care Unit

Job Overview This role supports the Transitional Care Unit by caring for boarding patients in the ED awaiting inpatient beds. Schedule 3x12 shifts, every 3rd weekend, dayshift. Compensation Eligible for up to a $15k sign‑on bonus (external applicants). Preferred Experience ED and/or inpatient care. Responsibilities Provides direct patient care, including assessment, planning, and education to promote safety, quality, and patient-centered care. Develops and communicates individualized care plans, evaluates patient needs, and ensures proper care across the continuum. Qualifications Requires RN licensure, a nursing diploma or associate’s degree, and preferably a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience. Position is safety-sensitive, emphasizing alertness and safety at all times.
