Registered Nurse (RN) Nephrology Oncology

Registered Nurse (RN), Nephrology Oncology – Full‑Time Night Shift Location: Frye Regional Medical Center, Hickory, NC. Compensation: $20,000 sign‑on bonus eligible. Schedule: 3 12‑hour shifts, rotating every 3 weekends. Shift times: 6:45 a.m.–7:15 p.m. or 6:45 p.m.–7:15 a.m. Pay: full‑time nights. Unit: 17‑bed nephrology oncology unit. Patient‑to‑nurse ratio: 1:6. Team: Tenured nurses in place. Scrubs: Any color allowed. Responsibilities Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs. Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions. Provide care appropriate to patient condition and age. Perform timely, appropriate documentation of medical necessity in chart. Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. Perform timely and accurate QI assessments. ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire. One year of experience preferred. Chemo therapy certification preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required).
