$2080.80/week - Job Summary: Seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to perform advanced laboratory testing in microbiology and blood bank disciplines. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in clinical microbiology and blood banking, ensuring accurate diagnostic results. Responsibilities: Conduct complex microbiology and blood bank testing according to established protocols. Maintain accurate documentation of test results and laboratory activities. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to uphold quality standards. Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver timely diagnostic information. Qualifications: License or certification as an AMT or ASCP certified Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS). Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical microbiology and blood bank. Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and quality control. Ability to work night shifts, including 3x12-hour or 4x10-hour schedules. Valid state license (preferred at time of submission). Good references verifying 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
