Chief Radiation Therapist Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Chief Radiation Therapist to lead our radiotherapy department. In this leadership role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure the delivery of high-quality radiation treatments, and mentor a team of skilled professionals. You will collaborate closely with physicians, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care in a compassionate and safe environment.

Chief Radiation Therapist Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the radiation therapy team, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient care.
• Oversee the planning, administration, and quality control of radiation therapy treatments.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, radiation safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot radiation therapy equipment to ensure accurate and safe delivery of treatments.
• Educate and mentor staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in radiation therapy techniques and technologies.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team performance and patient satisfaction.

Chief Radiation Therapist Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy Training Program
• Individual must possess and maintain current license from the ARRT specific to Radiation Therapy - ARRT (T)
• Individual must possess and maintain a valid Radiation Therapist license from the Ohio Department of Health.
• 3-5 years of radiation therapy experience is required with specific training in simulation and planning; Bachelors degree in related field preferred.
• Current American Heart Association Heathcare Provider (BLS) certification required.
