Job Description

We are seeking an Optometric Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform administrative and clinical assignments to help our office run smoothly. Experience is a Plus, but most important is friendly personality and strong customer service skills. If you want to be part of a fun, professional, work environment please reply.

Responsibilities:

Front Desk work, answering phones, scheduling appointments
Perform clinical tasks and pre-testing patients to support the Optometrists
Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing and claims administration
Contact Lens insertion and removal training

Qualifications:

Basic Computer skills (we use Windows, Word, Excel, and Electronic Medical Records
Familiarity with medical billing and patient care is a plus, but we will train
Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Flexible working days as we are open Mon - Sat
