Associate Software Developer
Virtual Vocations Inc
Joining a dynamic engineering team, the full-time Associate Software Developer will develop, test, and maintain backend services while working primarily remotely with occasional office visits in Bristol or London. Key responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain backend services and REST APIs for customer-facing products Integrate enterprise data and workflow automation into existing systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and release new features while participating in code reviews and troubleshooting Required qualifications A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Good knowledge of one or more backend programming languages and frameworks Foundational understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and software design principles Some experience with REST APIs and relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server Familiarity with source control tools like Git and Agile development practices Virtual Vocations Inc
