Develop and document functional requirements and translating into detail design documents Oversee the efforts of drafting teams to create any manufacturing drawings related to your designs. Perform needed analysis activities to aid in development and refinement of designs. Participate in and support proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports. Communicate technical information to team members, other engineering teams and suppliers. Develop technical documentation for the operation of new tools. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical engineering preferred) with 1 years’ experience. Open to Internship experience REQUIRED SKILLS Proficiency in application of PTC Creo or other parametric 3D modeling and/or simulation tools. Experience with design and development of product tooling for service applications. Experience maintaining or operating heavy equipment. Experience with modeling/designing in 3d parametric modeling software (i.e. Creo, Inventor, Solidworks, etc.). Experience with application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Mechanical print reading and/or drafting experience. DESIRED SKILLS Experience with various analytical/simulation tools (i.e. Finite Element Analysis, Bolted Joint Analysis, Tolerance Stack-ups, etc.). SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good organizational and time management practices. Ability to work within a team or independently. Good critical thinking skills. Strong analytical skills. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a team dynamic. Ability to communicate complex concepts or ideas within a team.
