This role is also responsible for the performance tracking of projects according to our project controls and capital management standards. The ability to collaborate and welcome the ideas and input of others, develop solutions to solve sophisticated problems that improve performance, efficiency and safety and drive tasks to successful completion are keys to success!Day in the Life - Project Controls AnalystProject Controls Analysts support projects from commercial development through closeout. They work with the business development & project execution team members to establish:Primavera project schedules and timelinesEstimates, budgets, and cost risk assessmentsMonthly expenditure forecasts and management reportingIn addition, they have a hand in preparing progress reports, and construction bid package analyses while working alongside the Project Managers on change orders and project change requests.Successful Project Controls Analysts efficiently collaborate and interact daily with Project Management, Commercial, Engineering, Land, Permitting, Construction, Operations, Finance, and Leadership.Responsibilities/Expectations:Collaborates with others to create, monitor and maintain cost analyses, financial forecasts and schedules for major and mega expansions and projectsPerforms applicable analyses to drive additional understanding of project status through the life cyclePrepares and communicates project-related reports to business partners and leadersSupports the Project Change Request process and Project Risk Analysis, including schedule and costEngages in ad hoc analyses and reportingMay step in for project manager to provide leader updatesMentors and trains othersOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: High school diploma/GED with equivalent experience or bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or business and minimum six (6) years’ project, project controls, engineering or related experiencePreferred: Master’s degree in engineering, construction or business and minimum eight (8) years’ project, project controls, engineering or related experienceOther Requirements:Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficient use of Microsoft Office applicationsProficiency of Project Life CycleExpertise with project-related software systems (ex.
