Unit Manager (RN/LPN)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to lead a nursing unit within our long-term care community. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse leader who is passionate about resident-centered care, staff development, and clinical excellence.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of Nurse Manager or Unit Manager experience and a strong commitment to creating positive outcomes for residents while supporting and mentoring nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit to ensure exceptional resident care and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Conduct resident assessments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Partner with physicians, therapists, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate high-quality resident care.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal, and company requirements.
• Monitor resident conditions and address clinical concerns promptly to promote positive outcomes.
• Participate in care planning, quality assurance initiatives, and performance improvement activities.
• Assist with staff education, training, and competency development.
• Support compliance with infection control, safety, HIPAA, and resident rights standards.
• Serve as a clinical resource for residents, families, and staff while helping resolve concerns and enhancing the resident experience.
• Provide direct nursing care as needed to support resident care and unit operations.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum of one (1) year of Nurse Manager, Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, or supervisory nursing experience preferred.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of care planning, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and resident-centered care practices.
• Ability to effectively lead a team while maintaining high standards of resident care.
