Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Contract Position
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, with every other weekend required.
We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a preference for NICU experience to join our respiratory therapy team. As a member of our staff, you will provide essential respiratory care and support to patients, ensuring their comfort and health in our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory therapy to patients, including assessments, treatments, and interventions.
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy as needed.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care and healthy practices.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Valid Texas Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
- Minimum of one year of adult respiratory therapy experience.
- Preferred experience in NICU settings.
