Dialysis and Chemo RN

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Completes admitting paperwork for patients. Helps to educate patients on dialysis procedures and chemotherapy medications. Monitors patients’ vitals and lab reports. Interprets patient’s lab results and adjusting care as needed. Assures compliance with Regulatory requirements. Evaluates, plans, implements, and documents nursing care for patients with kidney failure. Initiates dialysis, monitors patient and dialysis machine, and terminates the dialysis procedure. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Gives compassionate and thorough care and education to patients. Other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Requires an Associate’s Degree in Nursing Certified as a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of clinical experience, or an LPN currently enrolled in a RN program and will receive their license within 6 months Strong written and oral communications skills Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills Proven ability to maintain confidentiality Strict adherence to safety policies and procedures Continued education and training as required Potential travel for required educational and training requirements ONS Certification or willing to obtain.
