Safety Specialist
Our client is looking for a proactive Safety Specialist to help drive a world-class safety culture within our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, leading safety initiatives, conducting training, and partnering with employees and leadership to create a safe and productive workplace.
Responsibilities:
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
Lead new hire and ongoing safety training programs
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
Track and report safety metrics and regulatory requirements
Support emergency preparedness, hazard mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Partner with operations and maintenance teams to identify and eliminate workplace risks
Qualifications:
Degree in Safety, EHS, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred
ASP, CSP, OSHA 30, or other safety certifications
3+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety programs
Strong communication, training, and problem-solving skills
