Warranty Posting Clerk

The Warranty Posting Clerk is responsible for the submissions, cancellations, and reconciliations of Warranty and Insurance products sold. He/She performs any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to maintain accurate records. He/she may also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings recorded by other workers. Other office duties include but are not limited to sorting, filing, copying, handling telephone queries, and other duties as may be assigned including to fill-in for receptionist/cashier when needed.

The ideal candidate will have posting clerk experience with ADP or other dealership software experience, 2-years previous experience in an automotive dealership and an AA degree or other related education.

Essential functions include reviewing files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests, operating office machines, answering telephones, maintaining and updating filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, compiling, copying, sorting, and filing records, computing, recording, and proofreading data, communicating with customers, employees, and other individuals, and adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Physical demands include sitting, standing, and walking.
