Overview

St. James Parish is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant. This position is twenty-five (25) hours per week and supports the parish with administrative duties.

Job Responsibilites

• Answer phones and direct calls to Pastor and other staff members.
• Maintain Pastor's Weekly Appointments and Calendar.
• Maintain Parish Event Calendar on website.
• Prepare Weekend and Holy Days of Obligation Mass Binders.
• Maintain Sacramental Registers and ParishSoft entries.
• Manage Ministry Scheduler for all ministries of the Mass.
• Assist DRE with student registrations, sacramental certificates and entries.
• Maintain Mass intention book and payment records.
• Assist bulletin editor with weekend bulletin.
• Open and disburse mail.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, AA college degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a position of similar duties.
