How you'll make an impact in this role

• Provide comprehensive clinical oversight by reviewing, assessing, and assuring the appropriate selection, dosing, and dispensing of all medication orders to ensure patient safety and optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate actively with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to identify and resolve potential drug-related problems, recommending evidence-based formulary alternatives.
• Lead the pharmacy support team by overseeing the accurate compounding and dispensing of medications and serving as a mentor or formal preceptor to pharmacy students.
• Deliver essential drug information, education, and effective counseling to both medical staff and patients, empowering them to manage their care journey.

What minimum requirements you'll need

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required.
• Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

• ACPE IV CERTIFICATION
