Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring efficient and effective procurement of services and goods for the assigned procurement categories at the global level. This role involves supplier strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and formalization, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost‑effective and quality purchases to meet business needs, in compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Follow sourcing strategies to ensure cost‑effective and timely procurement of goods and services. Identify new suppliers for the assigned procurement categories and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and high performance. Manage RFP/RFQ and terms, prices, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable contracts. Contribute to procurement budget management, spend monitoring, and implement cost‑saving initiatives without compromising quality for the categories under responsibility. Work closely with Business Units requesting services/goods and other departments to ensure contract negotiation, formalization and procurement policy compliance. Improve continuously the procurement process leveraging the functionalities and opportunities offered by the Ariba platform, aiming at streamlining the process to gain efficiency and effectiveness. Conduct market research to identify trends, new suppliers, and opportunities for innovation in the supply chain. This role requires a good understanding of how procurement integrates with other business functions, such as operations, finance, and logistics, to achieve overall business goals. It requires knowledge of market trends, supplier dynamics, and regulatory factors, and a strong awareness of the commercial environment to optimize sourcing strategies. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field. Preferred: Master's Degree in Economics or Engineering. 5‑7 years of procurement experience with specific expertise in the Ariba platform. Proven experience in governance roles, supplier management, contract management, and compliance (SOX). Key Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Analytical thinking and ability to collaborate across departments. Proficiency with ERP systems and Ariba. Ability to manage sensitive or confidential information. Base pay is only part of our total rewards program. Eligible for bonuses and 401(k) contributions.
