Payroll/AP Clerk

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with our client in Colerain Township, Ohio to hire a Payroll & Accounts Payable Clerk. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in both payroll processing and accounts payable. The successful candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Process weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule Review employee time records and ensure payroll data is complete and accurate Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll-related inquiries Verify payroll deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment issues Generate payroll and accounts payable reports as needed Support other accounting and administrative functions as assigned Qualifications: 3-4 years of recent payroll and accounts payable experience required Experience processing payroll for multiple employees in a high-volume environment Strong understanding of payroll procedures, taxes, and deductions Experience with invoice processing, vendor management, and account reconciliation Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive employee and financial information High school diploma required; associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Benefits: Medical Dental Vision Life insurance Short-term disability Additional voluntary benefits EAP program Commuter benefits 401K plan Paid Sick Leave, where required by law Any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
