Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Lead a full service truck body shop
- Track and analyze key performance indicators
- Foster good working relationship with other department managers.
- Technician recruitment and hiring
- Technician retainment and career development
- Manage technicians on the floor to ensure quality and maximize efficiencies
- Schedule work flow and throughput in the shop
- All required federal, state, local, and industry compliance
- Customer and insurance estimating
Qualifications
Required Experience and Skills
- Truck or car body shop technical knowledge.
- Experience with technician development and management.
- Display ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Able to handle multiple, complex priorities and balance the needs of each according to business impact.
- Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills.
- Exceptional people skills.
- Excellent computer skills including the entire Microsoft suite of products and the ability to learn the company IB software system.
