Manufacturing Supervisor (3rd Shift)

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor for third-shift operations at its Teterboro facility. The role involves overseeing production operations, leading manufacturing teams, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and driving continuous improvement in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations including production planning, workflow optimization, and resource allocation
- Lead and develop manufacturing teams while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Manage production schedules, quality compliance, and adherence to GMP, ISO, and safety standards
- Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and other departments to achieve operational excellence
- Implement process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years manufacturing experience, or associate degree with 5+ years plus 2+ supervisory/leadership experience
- Experience in GMP/ISO regulated manufacturing environments preferred
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop manufacturing teams
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and manufacturing software
- Knowledge of safety regulations, quality systems, and regulatory compliance
Compensation: $86,300–$129,500 base
