Health and Safety Coordinator

We’re seeking a Safety Coordinator to support our team by implementing and maintaining safety programs across construction sites, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This is a night shift position. This role will be based in Wentzville, MO for at least one year. Candidates must be within driving distance or willing to stay in a hotel Monday through Friday. Responsibilities Assist in the implementation of safety programs at construction sites to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations Provide training and guidance to site personnel on safety-related matters Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents and develop corrective action plans Assist in developing and maintaining safety policies and procedures Monitor industry trends and changes in regulations and adapt programs and policies as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred Must be willing to work a night shift schedule OSHA-30 certification preferred Experience with traffic control/protection or work zones preferred Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) certification preferred 2+ years of experience in a safety role, with construction experience preferred Strong knowledge of safety principles, regulations, and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience developing and implementing safety programs Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
