About the Position

Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required License: Must be in hand prior to start date Certifications: BLS, NBSTA Must-Have: - Experience in CV and heart/lung transplant cases - Availability for weekend shifts as required - National certifications must be current Description: This position requires a skilled CVOR Tech with a minimum of 2 years of experience in CV and heart/lung transplant cases. Candidates must hold current national certifications and be fully licensed prior to starting. Weekend coverage involving one full weekend within a six-week call schedule is required. An on-call commitment is also expected, estimated at approximately 110 hours. Travel experience is preferred, and candidates should be comfortable with floating between facilities if necessary. Preferred patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with an emphasis on collaborative team support in patient care. The candidate should also be proficient in various surgical procedures related to cardiovascular operations. Diverse exposure to surgical cases and settings will be beneficial, although specifics are articulated in the job description. The role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a commitment to high-quality patient care. The position involves working during 2 out of 3 major holidays as specified in facility requirements.
