Journeyman Electrician for Solar Site - BESS Experience preferred

Job is in Kirtland, NM. Mon-Sat 10-hour days (some Sundays). $110 per diem if 75 miles from jobsite.

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced journeyman electricians to join our team for work on a large battery storage site. This role involves underground rough-in cable pulling, conduit installation, pulling MV cable, DC cable terminations, as well as 120-480v switchboards and distribution boards.

Responsibilities

• Perform underground rough-in cable pulling and conduit installation.
• Execute MV and DC cable terminations.
• Install and manage 120-480v switchboards and distribution boards.
• Read and interpret blueprints for electrical construction projects.
• Collaborate with construction crews in a commercial and industrial setting.
• Meet daily production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in construction, solar, and electrical work.
• Experience with conduit bending and electrical wiring.
• Ability to pull wire and run conduit efficiently.
• Strong understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Experience in outside construction, especially in dirt, trenches, and around heavy equipment.
• Comfortable working in outdoor environments under varying temperature conditions.

This is a Contract position based out of Kirtland, NM.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
