Senior Category Space Manager

Kforce has a client in Bellevue, WA that is seeking a Senior Category Space Manager. Responsibilities

• Build a strong relationship with the retailer as trusted Category Space advisor across all areas of the Beer business
• Use space planning software to effectively merchandise the beer department according to category and retailer strategy, determined in tandem with the division's Category Manager
• Spearhead the Spring and Fall reset process with the drawing team and facilitate questions and problems that arise throughout the project
• Execute store visits and physical resets alongside the retailer and other external partners
• Synthesize learnings from various sources to create clear and impactful selling stories in a visually appealing manner using PowerPoint
• Partner with Sales team to engage external retailer buying team in defined territories with goal of identifying opportunities to grow the Beer category
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong passion for the Beer industry
• Shelf management and planogram creation experience (JDA, Apollo, etc.)
• Moderate to Advanced proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel to manipulate and organize data
• Moderate to Advanced proficiency utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint to organize and visualize the story line for presentations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to translate findings and recommendations into a concise and effective selling story
• Ability to confidently present insights, opportunities and recommendations to internal or external stakeholders in a persuasive manner
• Category Management or Sales experience in consumer-packaged goods industry
• Strong familiarity with syndicated data, software, and measures (Circana, Nielsen, etc.)
• Strong familiarity with shopper panel information data, software and measures (Circana, Nielsen, Numerator, Retailer Loyalty data, etc.)
• Experience with dash boarding software such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, or Spotfire
