We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Role Type Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less) Enhances the camper experience at Pinewood Country Club while taking responsibility for their well-being and needs. As a Counselor, implements camp programs, including chaperoning specialty camps, field trips, physical activities, daily living skills, health, safety, and events. Responsibilities Assumes responsibility for the safety of campers Follows camp objectives, rules, policies, guidelines, and daily schedule Assists staff with all camp activities Serves as a positive role model for youth Creates new activities and games Shows a genuine interest in campers Problem‑solves situations and seeks assistance when necessary Maintains the recreation/camp center according to Club standards Welcomes all club members Is punctual and organized Enhances and teaches skills to campers (e.g., guitar, basketball, art) Attends scheduled meetings and training sessions Arrives on time with a positive attitude Ensures all youth feel comfortable, safe, and included Performs all other assigned duties Knows campers’ locations at all times Participates in and supports summer events Qualifications Must be 18 years of age CPR/First Aid certification required Lifeguard certification preferred Must attend training dates prior to start Desire to work with children Ability to assist in teaching activitiesAbility to accept guidance and supervision Demonstrates leadership, enthusiasm, patience, self‑control, maturity, responsibility, strong social skills, integrity, and a positive attitude Benefits & Other Compensation Healthcare Benefits – Medical (if determined by the ACA measurement) Retirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older) Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.
