Our motto here at Taylor Robinson Music is "Learn to Play From the Heart", and we are looking for private music instructors who share the same philosophy! We strive to make music lessons as accessible and affordable to as many people as possible because we believe the importance of music education is essential to making the world a better, happier place! Responsibilities Teach guitar lessons in person at students’ homes, your own studio or studio space, or via webcam (in-person preferred). Set your own schedule and create your own curriculum and lesson plans. Travel to students in the Schiller Park, IL area when needed or host students at your own studio. Maintain communication with the Taylor Robinson Music office, remain organized and on time for all lessons. Adhere to COVID‑19 safety protocols: wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing when applicable. Qualifications Either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience. Experience teaching children preferred. Good communication skills and professional demeanor. Pay & Benefits Independent contractor, $20–$30 per hour, dependent on travel time, experience/education and student retention rate.
