Pharmacy Supervisor- Retail in Peridot, AZ

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy / Retail Supervisor to oversee daily pharmacy operations within a hospital setting. This leadership role is ideal for a pharmacist with strong clinical and operational experience who can manage pharmacy staff, ensure regulatory compliance, optimize inventory management, and support quality patient care initiatives.

Local candidates are strongly preferred to support potential conversion to a full-time position.

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• PharmD preferred
• PGY1 Residency preferred
• Five (5) years of professional pharmacy experience
• Minimum two (2) years of management/supervisory experience
• Hospital pharmacy experience required
• Current and active unrestricted Pharmacist License
• Arizona Pharmacist License preferred
• BLS Certification (within 30 days of hire)
• Immunization, vaccine, and emergency medication administration certification preferred
• Must successfully pass background check and drug screening

• Direct, manage, and supervise daily pharmacy operations to ensure high-quality service and regulatory compliance
• Lead and mentor pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff
• Develop and monitor operational, quality, and financial performance metrics
• Implement and maintain departmental policies, procedures, and best practices
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives
• Manage pharmacy purchasing, inventory control, and cost-effective medication utilization
• Oversee pharmacy information systems and dispensing technologies
• Ensure compliance with hospital, state, federal, and accreditation standards
• Coordinate staff education, training, and professional development programs
• Prepare operational and performance reports and recommend improvement strategies
• Participate in quality assurance, orientation, and departmental initiatives
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
